Hello it is a pleasure to be working with you and your classmates. I look forward to this project and the results we produce!
The microphone appears to be held away from you, or you're looking at it from the wrong side of a microphone stand. It is off center just enough to seem unintentional and with very little information behind it, besides the standard blurred photographers beiges background, has no sense of place. With the microphone tilted away it connotes that the holder is giving or allowing someone else to speak or use it. However the beige background seems very sterile and lacking any feeling toward what deeper meaning is to be had from the photograph. The image very stock in its feeling.
