Here is the ideal illustration/possible fonts that we are thinking of using for the booklet. The typeface is definitely going to be a serif.

serif would be good, and a welcome (non-boring) departure form the usual univers-inspired solutions.
You should definitely shade in the forks on the lower drawing, that would set them off in the sea of spokes!
