I am totally on board with where you took this variation I was hoping to empower with the barrack reference for good. I disagree with some of the visual choices. First the image being in black white in red seems to give it the negative connection to nazi's along with treatment in the size of hitler to obama seems to put them on the same level. It is not until you notice the smaller element that it becomes clearer that on half you are saying that they're bad and the other half is good. It seems like there needs to be a boundary to separate the two, whether it is in the treatment of the images, color, or size is really up to you. Obviously the text says it is positive but initial feeling from it is very negative especially pertaining to the scribble marks. When I scribble something out it is usually to cover a mistake or because i don't like something. It could be taken as scratch to reveal some deeper part but its the same treatment on all 4 characters is confusing. Finally the choice of Barrack picture isn't his most flattering him smiling or talking not almost scowling would help to sell him inspiring hope. Very Interesting cutout, very powerful.
